Frequently Asked Questions
1. What do you have available for my children? Children are a large part of LBBC! On any given Sunday our children account for nearly half of our attendance. We offer year-round Preschool, Children and Student ministries and staff personnel to lead them. In addition to a full range of Sunday morning Bible study classes, each ministry offers a Wednesday night discipleship event. We utilize our Family Life Center (gym), Game Room and outdoor activities to make church fun and exciting for children. 2. How do I find a Sunday School Class for myself and my family? Pay a quick visit to our Welcome Center. There you will find friendly and helpful people who will not only find the right class for your entire family, they will escort you to the classroom.
3. On my first Sunday, where should I go for directions? Information? Make your first stop the LBBC the Welcome Center! Please feel free to park in the Welcome Center lot, spaces are designated for our guests, and step into the Welcome Center.
4. When are your Worship Services and Sunday School? Where are they located? Sunday School classes are offered at 8:00am, 9:30am and 11:00am throughout the building. The building is divided into age-specific areas. Worship Services are offered at both 9:30am and 11:00am. The sermon is the same at both services.
5. How can I become a member? Joining LBBC is a decision we want you to make after you have learned about who we are, what we believe and what we plan to do! Therefore we offer a "First Principles" class to anyone who is considering joining LBBC. This class is held on the first Sunday of each month; from 3:00-6:30pm. To become a member the following must be true: 1. You are a Christian. You have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. 2. You were baptized by immersion after becoming a Christian 3. You have attended the "First Principles" class and signed the church covenant. 4. You have come forward during the Invitation time at the close of a Sunday morning worship service.
6. Where does our pastors stand on the authority of Scripture? Our pastors remain true to belief in the Bible as the inerrant Word of God.
7. Is your music contemporary Christian music? Our worship services would best be described as balanced or blended. It includes a full orchestra, choir, solos and ensembles and seeks to blend contemporary and traditional music.
8. What is the average age of your church? The average age of LBBC members is 43 years old.
