Men’s Ministry

Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.

PROVERBS 27:17

  • To mentor the men of LBBC as disciples of Jesus Christ in order that they might come to better know Him, to more deeply love Him, and to serve Him more faithfully and effectively as the spiritual leaders of their homes; as salt and light in the workplace and community; and as servant leaders in His Church, in obedience to His Holy Word.

SMALL GROUPS

At London Bridge, we believe that a church should grow smaller as it grows larger.  In fact, we believe connecting relationally is essential in growing spiritually! Life is just better connected.  Our Small Groups provide a place where we grow in our relationship with Jesus as we walk with others who have the same goal. To accommodate varying schedules, we have a wide variety of Small Groups, including some just for men.

MENTORING

There are aspects of the Gospel that can only be effectively communicated in the context of a personal relationship.  That’s why Christ not only had a public ministry, but He also had a small group of disciples that he lived with and taught.  The Apostle Paul told Timothy, “the things which you have learned from me, commit to faithful people who can, in turn, teach others.” (2 Timothy 2:2) Our approach to this is to set men in mentoring relationships.  Men who would like to be mentored are set in relationships with others who have been through mentoring training to take their journey towards maturity to the “next level”.

FAITH Riders

We’re proud to facilitate a chapter of this international motorcycle ministry. Every year the FAITH Riders lead many people to a saving knowledge of Jesus by participating in just about every biker gathering they can find, specifically Bike Week in Daytona Beach, FL.

The command of God implores us as we “go into all the world we are to preach the Gospel to all creation” (Mark 16:15); the F.A.I.T.H. Riders take this calling seriously as the lifeblood of its existence and passion. This is a ministry, not a riding club or gang, and our sole purpose is to share the life-changing Good News by equipping the saints to engage in practical ministry opportunities… We just happen to enjoy the ride and the fellowship while we minister.

MEN’S BREAKFAST

Three times a year, the men of the church will gather on a Saturday morning to have a breakfast. We pray, we eat, we worship, and we hear from a special guest speaker. It’s a time of fellowship that feeds us physically and spiritually.
