Physical Education Program

Physical Education is more than playtime and exercise. It also involves agility, balance, cooperation, social skills, gross motor coordination, and following directions. To accomplish these goals, we use a number of tools: the balance beam, ladder, balls, jump ropes, a parachute, and tricycles. Games such as volleyball, soccer, t-ball and basketball are used to inspire a spirit of teamwork.

Play areas consist of two outdoor playgrounds and an indoor gym with climbing equipment. Our P.E. teacher is on site to organize activities, reinforce listening skills, and provide additional supervision.

Each class attends 20 minutes of physical education each day.  If the temperature is above 50 degree, the children will go outside for PE.
