Meeting students where they are and taking them where God wants them to be.

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him..

At London Bridge, we believe that a church should grow smaller as it grows larger.  In fact, we believe connecting relationally is essential in growing spiritually! Life is just better connected.  Our Small Groups provide a place where we grow in our relationship with Jesus as we walk with others who have the same goal. To accommodate varying schedules, we have a wide variety of Small Groups, including some just for students!

We understand students need a worship experience that is targeted to their culture. Our Wednesday night “Accelerate” service is designed to meet that need. Beginning with dynamic, live worship, the students ultimately break into Middle and High School groups for teaching and ministry. Join us Wednesday nights at 6:30 for “Accelerate” followed by open gym time.

D’Now (Disciple Now) is one of our biggest and most exciting events of the year. It is a local retreat where students gather in the evening for dynamic services with powerful worship led by a guest artist and then hear a message from a national guest speaker. Then they dismiss in groups to stay in homes and have age-appropriate discussions about the teaching. D’Now is a life-changing weekend that you don’t want to miss!

Every January our denomination holds a massive Youth Rally called the Youth Evangelism Conference (YEC) and London Bridge is the host church. Hundreds of students from all over Virginia descend on Virginia Beach for a weekend of explosive worship, comedy, and teaching. In the past worship artists have included Leeland, Sixteen Cities, and Fireflight as well as comedy groups, illusionists, and dynamic speakers. It will be a weekend to remember!

Summer brings Vacation Bible School to churches everywhere.  If you take the VBS you remember as a child, feed it steroids, add insane competitions and make it much louder – you get Student VBS.  Complete with a live band, a DJ, and a week-long group competition, VBS is the craziest and wildest week you’ll ever love.  Some past activities have included knockerball, mud volleyball, and Monster Ball Brawl.  The week is geared especially to inviting the unchurched and each evening has worship and teaching from a national speaker.

Each year Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers go away for separate weeks of bonding, teaching, and growing in their relationships with God and with one another. In addition to worship and teaching, the week features lots of outdoor activities, personal challenges, and opportunities to connect with other students and sponsors. There is a lot of power is just “getting away”, and in our camps we harness that power to propel students forward in their relationship with Jesus.
